My name is Jordann Young, and I am a PhD student and Eugene V. Cota-Robles Fellow in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California Santa Cruz. My dissertation research is focused on female foraging specialization within a resident community of common bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) in Sarasota Bay, FL. I am co-advised by Dr. Daniel Costa, Director of the Institute of Marine Science at UCSC, and Dr. Randall Wells, Director and Chairman of the Sarasota Dolphin Research Program.
